The island

Somewhere above the clouds

Holy Bean Island floats high in the sky, and it’s where banished gods call home. Without their former glory, even gods have to deal with everyday life: unexpected mishaps, questionable decisions, and the occasional moment of romance.

Keeping it all from falling apart is Misoba, a divine rooster turned overworked administrator. The island runs on a credit system he manages. Earn enough credits and you can return to the Divine Realm. Most of the islanders have stopped asking how many they need.

“Holy Bean!”

Misoba’s catchphrase, good for surprise, shock, frustration and nearly everything else. Holy Beans are also magical beans that give life to small, adorable creatures. Then there’s the edible kind. Misoba knows exactly what those do. He just doesn’t say.
